After years of made to order apparel we are moving to a pre-order production model. Although many items will still be stocked, our more elaborate dresses will be pre-order. When you pre-order a product, you place an order in advance of manufacturing. We ship you the dress once it's finished. Pre-ordering gives you the advantage of securing our highly anticipated dressed before they sell out. It also helps us gauge demand, manage inventory, and plan production more effectively.

How It Works:
Limited Release Schedule: Language of the Birds releases dresses for purchase a few times a year. These dates are announced in advance.
Print Deposit: Before any release a print deposit can be made to help secure a dress. This reserves a fixed amount of print for you and also helps us gauge the amount of fabric to print. This is fully refundable.
Subscriber Early Access: Email subscribers have the option to buy a dress before the public release. This secures their priority access.
Public Pre-order: Dress pre-order will be opened to the general public after the initial opportunity to subscribers for a limited time.
Additional Inventory: We expect to have some limited inventory to meet factory production minimums. This keeps our production partners solvent. However we can not guarantee the dress you want in the print you want unless you participate in pre-order.
Wait List: If a dress sells out before you can purchase it, you can join a waiting list for returned styles in excellent condition.
